Deposits, Payments and Refunds

When you sign up for a trip, we will request a deposit in order for us to secure your spot. The deposit is set at EUR 200| USD 220 | GBP 170 for the trip fee. This deposit is non-refundable.

The balance payment would be due at least 45 days before the start of a trip, and we will start requesting funds approximately 60 days before the start of a trip. Cancellations made after this time period incurs the following penalties:

  • Cancel 31 days before trip start date: 100% refund on balance.
  • Cancel between 30 and 20 days before trip start date: 50% refund on balance.
  • Cancel 19 days or less before trip start date: no refund available. 

Payment Methods and Processing Fees

Payment can be made via bank transfer. If payment is made using PayPal or Credit Card a 5% convenience fee will be charged.

Minimum and Maximum Number of Participants

Each group trip has a set minimum number of confirmed participants needed in order to be able to run the trip. This minimum number of people is based on meeting the amount of revenue we have to generate to get the trip off the ground.

For this trip 6 PAX is the minimum number of passengers required for the trip. In case we are not able to meet the minimum group size we will have to cancel the trip and will provide a full refund. We limit the group sizes on the trip to a maximum of 16 so that the group interactions with the influencer and the guide remain dynamic and all the participants form strong friendships that outlast their journey

Itinerary and Scheduling Changes

We create itineraries that are exciting, that help you explore the destinations and get beneath its skin. Although we try and follow the itineraries that we published, they are subject to change, as local conditions on the ground can change, or new opportunities arise. We would reserve the right to make changes to the itinerary as necessary, while trying to preserve the essence of the original itinerary.

Single Supplement

Although, we offer single supplement accommodations,we prefer that those traveling with us,bond with fellow travellers and that’s why we assign and rotate roommates. We can offer single supplement accommodation for a surcharge if it’s available, on a case to case basis.

In case you’re travelling with a friend or a partner, you can stay in a room together throughout the trip. If you’re joining solo, we will try our best to give you a roommate of the same gender if possible, during the trip.

Trip Cancellations

We do our absolute best to never have to cancel a trip that has met its minimum participant threshold. However, we do reserve the right to cancel a trip at any time for any reason– act of god, safety, natural disaster, political upheaval, or any unforeseen issue that prevents us from safely operating a trip.

Should we be forced to cancel a trip, you will receive a full refund except your booking deposit.

Please note: we are unable to cover any costs you incur should the trip be cancelled because of a force-majeure event, including flight changes, ticket fees, vacation time, etc. For this reason, we recommend that you purchase travel insurance.

Medical and Travel Insurance

We require that participants have valid medical insurance before travelling on one of our trips. This would aid us in helping you in case of an accident or if you fall sick and need to be admitted to hospital or evacuated.

Responsibilities and Code of Conduct

Our trips are led and managed on the ground by some of the most knowledgeable and experienced local guides, are highly explorative and experiences that go beyond the usual tourist trail and encourage genuine interaction between the travellers and locals and also amongst themselves. Our expectations are that all participants treat each other and our staff, local partners, and hosts with respect and patience.
